EWS #7: Cecile clinches another!

EWS #7: Cecile clinches another!

As the season reaches its closing swing the challenges continue to arise.

For #7 of the Enduro World Series, the circuit returned to Aínsa, Spain, after a few year hiatus. The riders were met with long dusty stages, ecstatic fans, and scorching weather conditions.

After a few weeks on the downhill circuit, Cecile Ravanel returned to World Enduro. The winning continued.

Stylish as always; Iago Garay pushed hard in front of his home crowd to secure a solid top 20 finish.

There’s always time for a wheelie; 18th place for Wyn Masters.

Drifting the inside on the way to a top 15; Mark Scott will be gunning for more in Finale.

Always time for a boost, Remi Gauvin sends one for the crowd on the way to 12th place.

Jesse Melamed returned to racing in Spain after suffering an injury in Whistler. Unsure of how he’d do, he rode on the conservative side and still finished an incredibly impressive 8th place!

Overcoming the heat that challenged many, Dim Tordo looked good all weekend, landing another top 10 finish.

Always in the mix, Flying Flo gelled with the rocky trails of Aínsa, rounding out the weekend with a top 5 finish.

Whether it’s Enduro or Downhill, it seems you can pencil in Martin Maes as a contender; 2nd place in Spain for the GT Factory Racing rider. One round to go, will he finish on top?
