The World Cup circuit has been coming to MSA since 1993 and its high-speed straights and rocky wood sections have become notorious among riders and fans alike. Thunderstorms during the first day of practice turned the track up a few notches and posed more of a challenge than ever before. One man wasn’t phased.

Mont Sainte Anne was Gee Atherton’s 100th World Cup DH race. Despite battling a still broken wrist, Gee Atherton pushed hard to secure his first top 10 of the season!
Smooth as ever, Luca Shaw just missed the podium in MSA, finishing in 6th. There are two races left in 2018 and you shouldn’t count him out for either of them.
Continuing strongly on what must be the season of his life, Loris Vergier finished 5th in MSA, keeping hold of his #2 plate in the process.

Troy Brosnan put down a seemingly flawless run for his best result of the season, ultimately beating all but one of his competition.
It’s been a trying few months for the World Champion with crashes, injuries, and missed opportunities far more present than he would have hoped. Second in qualifying gave some hope for a turnaround and finals couldn’t have gone much better. Super Bruni has returned!
