I bought these to replace

"I bought these to replace damaged stock end caps for my old candy pedals. The aluminum pedal body around the plastic caps was damaged so I got a pair for my mallets as well. These are a nice upgrade and look good but for the price some of the anodizing was missing is my only complaint. We'll see how they hold up over time. The Allen head bolts getting damaged would be my only concern."

It's perfect. And I didn't

"It's perfect. And I didn't know that the eggbeater pedal will move an 1/8 of an inch on the pedal axle without the cap! I lost the cap a few years ago and could never get the pedal to tighten up. I thought it was simply a dust cap. Not so. Notice in pictures the weight of the Ti pedals from 2004 to the weight of new Garmin Power Meter Pedals."
