Reviews

I have always loved these

"I have always loved these pedals. I could probably go to the egg beaters and be fine. . . . But I like the look and color of these ones. I got the more difficult release angle this time and it's great! I feel so much more strength on the pull with no fear of popping out."

"Pedals are great the color matches my bike. They are easy to enter and release. Will definitely buy again!"

"Look great, high quality, and easy to clip in and out of. Highly recommend."

OOH Shiny

"Awesome pedals, I like the flat stable pedal surface combined with eggbeater float and ease of clip-in/out. The traction pads are great to switch out for wear and a tighter shoe fit. I added titanium spindles for the weight loss and bling factor. Have used CB egg beaters and candy's for over 10 years and love them."

First time user of CB

"First time user of CB pedals as I’ve been in the Shimano eco system ever since going clipless. At first the ease of egress was a bit concerning, I thought I might ‘accidentally’ step out when pedaling hard or managing an obstacle where the feet might move just a bit more than usual. Happy to report this was NOT the case. The ease of egress is a wonderful feature when needed but the pedals have stayed perfectly secure when riding. I have a hundred or so miles of hard trail riding on them, mud to dust and everything in between, and haven’t come out of them when I didn’t want to. Highly recommend. Candy 7 pedals with standard cleats."

"I 'needed' lighter pedals (than my usual Mallet E LS) for my 120 mm adventure rocket bike build so I thought I would give these a try. Excellent as always from CB and the 52 mm Q factor is working quite well for me."

I’ve been riding regular Eggbeaters

"I’ve been riding regular Eggbeaters for over 20 years. These are a nice change and I can feel the extra support under my shoe. They are just as easy to engage and disengage as the regular Eggbeaters plus they function as a flat pedal until you can get clipped in which is handy. I wasn’t sure I’d like them right away but I did."

I love the Crank Brothers

"I love the Crank Brothers pedal system. When I first tried them YEARS ago, I didn't. What changed? Me! I'm riding much more, and more challenging (relative) trails in a more active and engaging way. Before, I was very road/gravel/cc oriented, and liked the locked in feel of SPD. Now I appreciate the easier clip in, more natural float, and security but not immobile feeling I get from the CB stuff. They also look baller. 😉"

I switched to these from

"I switched to these from Speedplay (Wahoo), and it took a little time to get comfortable clipping in, but I like the feel of these pedals, and I definitely love the look! I was not happy with having to order a separate set of cleats in order to get the horseshoe shaped "cushion" for walking around (therefore 4 stars instead of 5). Please include those with the pedals!!!"
