      Really crisp actuation, no change

"Really crisp actuation, no change over time. Super robust. On my trail bike and no issues so far!"

      I’m a professional bike patroller

"I’m a professional bike patroller and bought a downhill bike specifically for work. It didn’t come with a dropper so I bought this one from Crank. It was difficult to install because the bike was not designed for it, but that is not the fault of Crankbrothers. I absolutely love the lever that I bought with it, it attached to my brake system perfectly. If I had to do it again I would buy an electric one, but now that it’s installed it works perfectly!"

Responsive and sturdy dropper post on a budget

"Picked one of these up in the 170mm travel version from my local bike shop on sale to upgrade my Polygon Siskiu D5 with a dropper post and I've been blown away by the performance and build quality for the price. While I haven't been riding it long enough to speak for service intervals, servicing seems quite straightforward and the dropper post comes with internal lubricant in the box for your next service."

      Great dropper and works flawlessly

"Great dropper and works flawlessly but I really wish it was available in the Highline 7 which tends to have a bit smoother action. That said, I run the Highline on all of my mountain bikes and am very pleased."

      Mike S. (5/5)

      Perfect size for a small

      Q&A

Is it possible to internally shim the highline 3 dropper post in order to limit the travel. Or do you sell internal shims for this application?
Hi Ben, thanks for your question. It is not possible to internally shim the Highline post in order to adjust/limit the travel. Best Regards, Crankbros Rider Support
How do I determine which size dropper post is right for my mountain bike?
Hi Carrie, There are multiple factors to consider when selecting a dropper post length. Most important is the amount of available insertion length in your frame's seat-tube; some frame manufacturer websites have this information but you can also measure yourself. Linked below is the Highline 3 sizing chart that gives all relevant sizing info which you can correlate with your frame's seat-tube insertion length. https://www.dropbox.com/s/eblka6l8c8i41tf/Highline%203%20Sizing%20Chart%2030-9_31-6_34-9%20MAR21C.pdf?dl=0 Personal preference can vary, but most riders like to get the longest post possible so that the seat is as close as possible to the frame's seat-tube collar when the dropper is set to it's lowest position. We recommend taking a measurement of your current preferred saddle height with your current seat post so that you can cross reference that measurement with the above linked sizing chart. Saddle height measurement is taken from the top-center of your saddle to the crank-arm bolt in the center of the bottom bracket shell. Cheers, Crankbros Rider Support
I currently have the Highline 3 dropper post but the cartridge seems to be going as it is either delayed staying down or sometimes does not stay completely up. Do you sell the cartridge separately so i can rebuild mine?
Hi Keimar, Thanks for reaching out, we regret to learn of your dropper concerns. New cartridges can be requested from our service center by submitting the small parts form in the link below: https://crankbrothers.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=114093998454 If the post is still within warranty period (2 years), and you're the original owner, then you can inquire about a warranty replacement cartridge by using the link below: https://crankbrothers.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=114093968634 Cheers, Crankbrothers Rider Support
